The gifted students in grades 3-5 need more challenging books! I am so excited to see how their love of reading will flourish with these engaging and thrilling books! My students love holding discussions and could talk about the books they are reading for hours. Research shows that student's growth in reading happens much faster in small group reading instruction, when students talk together about what they read. I want to incorporate more in-depth discussions about books, mirroring the skills these students will need for high school and college education!
