My students must keep up with the modern times of music education of today in elementary school. They need to capture the beauty of being artful in the music classroom early on before they get to the middle and high school levels. Many of my students have had a HUGE interest in learning the ukulele. The students would develop incredible hand-eye coordination, as well as a reinforcement of reading music, reading chord sheets, and ukulele tablature. Ukuleles will allow the students to get a new beginning in their music classroom, as well as enhance their musical journeys. Since this is a brand new school, the students have had a rough start with getting to know everyone and getting a new normal started, which will now be enhanced.
