Everything I do is for my students...my children...my family. I want what is BEST for every one of them...Every.Single.Day. Sometimes, I can't sleep at night because I am either excited or worried about my students. Bringing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) resources into my classroom will make me even MORE confident in the minds I am molding each and every day. The BRIGHT children I am teaching now will one day be the LEADERS of our world. The background of a child should NEVER determine their ability to be successful. I believe as long as a child has love and support they can and will be their best selves. Providing STEM will help to guide students to be their best self through communication, self-regulation, emotional support, and much much more. Some people might see a "Pipe Cleaners, Play-Doh, and Blocks", I see positive stimuli for a frustrated child who can self regulate using Pipe Cleaners and Play-Doh. I see a child who can build an AMAZING house out of blocks. STEM gives children the time to be a kid, to play, and to experiences something new in our busy world. Please support me and my 3rd grade team to build and support the minds and hearts of our students...children...and most importantly, family.
