At Tonaquint, Chromebooks are used as a tool, not a teacher. This means that Chromebooks are not constantly in use on the desks. In the past, they have been safely stored in COW carts until directed by a teacher to pull them out. However, with students opting for online learning, or compelled to do so due to quarantine, our Chromebooks are being checked out and taken home. That has limited the number of Chromebooks available at school and has necessitated assigning a specific Chromebook to each student. We need a way to protect our devices. With these protective sleeves, the Chromebooks will have a much better chance of surviving the jostling and bumping that happens during the passing time - not to mention the 'black hole' also known as the middle schooler's backpack. The last thing a Chromebook needs is to be encrusted with Cheeto dust or misted by the condensation from a nearby water bottle.
