When my project is fully funded, I will be implementing ceramics and pottery making into the art curriculum. With the use of this kiln, students will be working on hand-building, coil, and slab techniques With this kiln, I will be abke to help students discover greenware to ceramic techniques, allowing students to explore the wonder of glazing. This will be game changer for these special needs students. I have been hoping for the chance to gain access to the kiln, as we are a new building and have not had one installed yet.

About my class
