My students would benefit greatly by using the Storyworks Junior magazines because the content is so engaging to them that they will be motivated to use reading strategies to improve their reading comprehension and fluency skills. The best part of this project is that the students will be able to take the magazines home and practice their reading on a daily basis! The magazine connects to all areas of the curriculum so the students will be exposed to both science and social studies area content materials while they are improving on their individual reading skills. Thank you so much for considering funding this project! My students will be so appreciative of this excellent resource that they would not be able to have without the generosity of others!
