With these books, my students will be able to read a book that brings to light what it truly means to be kind to one another and to understand that not everyone is the same. This book will build their vocabulary, and open their mind to thinking in different ways. Having a copy for each student to read, and work through together will help them to build their reading fluency, and open a discussion as a class. The packets we will work on while reading will incorporate the skills they will learn in my class, and help to build on what they learned in previous grades.
