These items will help my students gain the ability to focus at a time that is important for both them and myself. I will use these chairs on an everyday basis and let my students choose their own type of chair in order to make them feel more welcome in my classroom. I want the students to take ownership of the classroom as well as their work so that they feel like they are just as important as the items we are learning. I am wanting to encourage movement in the classroom with our seating as well as the lessons that I teach. I am hoping to use this seating to reach my students in a way they haven't been reached before. I am hoping this will help them learn and be excited about the things I am teaching them everyday in an environment they take ownership of. I am wanting to use this seating to reach my kids and give them the tools they need to be able to succeed in my classroom. In order to succeed my students need to be able to move around and get out the wiggles so that they can hear me and focus on my directions. Without being able to follow directions their ability to succeed will be hindered.
