My kindergarten students, who are new to school, have various learning styles and therefore need an environment that fosters those styles and encourages them to be creative in their first year of school. In kindergarten, we are not only learning how to do school, but we are learning at what style best helps us learn. Our ideal classroom allows for seating that fits every student, group, or activity. This builds a sense of community and will help my students learn how to communicate among students. Students learn best when they have student choice and the ability to move when they need to. I'm looking to add more options to my flexible classroom and these sitting desks and wobble stools would be a perfect fit!
