I would love to give my students a chance to have a reliable source of technology in my classroom. We do have Chromebooks for our 8th grade team, however we have only 30 to split among 90 students at any one period. Therefore, there are times were I would like to use technology in my class that day and can't. The students have to wait a day or three to be able to use them. At that point, the technology portion of the lesson has lost it's meaning. Technology and Science go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. That's why it is important to have technology in my classroom at all times. There are many facets of classroom lessons were I see these tablets being use. Form blended learning to a quick look up to question of an inquiring student to developing graphs and presentations.
