Flexible seating allows me to incorporate comfort, collaboration and creativity as a way to increase productivity and learning in my sixth grade reading and writing classroom. My classroom currently consists of basic and harsh fluorescent lights and rows of uncomfortable and restrictive one-piece desks. Ultimately, my goal is to engage and empower them with choices by providing diverse seating options. I want to able to foster a more authentic learning environment that adapts to the unique needs of ALL of my students! Thank you, in advance, for contributing to our classroom!
