Storyworks gives students access to standards-aligned texts that are interesting, fun, and educational. Storyworks does an amazing job of exposing students to both fiction and nonfiction texts, current events, drama, debate topics, and more. The articles and stories that are included in each issue encourage students to think critically about a wide variety of topics. Not only do I believe that Storyworks is a crucial part of standards-aligned Language Arts instruction, but it also introduces and explains topics that are cross-curricular at a fourth grade reading level. Students will truly benefit from this subscription!
