Peer mentors and teachers will work in the FACES classroom and our community to build real-life experiences. Creating a classroom that has a touch of home will enable us to guide lessons that will build confidence. Through helping our classroom feel more like a home we will be able to offer authentic daily life and independent living skills. The atmosphere of the classroom needs to be calm and relaxing to help the students feel comfortable and ready to learn. The more we are able to offer to them now the more successful and independent they will be in the future.

About my class
