The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a use and a home in my classroom. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The classroom storage cart will allow me to have a special place for our students to gather while I teach things like writing and calendar time. The manipulatives will allow my students to use their hands while learning addition and subtraction strategies. The Sum Swamp game will allow my students to learn socialization skills and academic concepts while playing a game. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful learning. By using these materials, my students will see themselves as "smart" and capable instead of how they see themselves now. We will use these materials to aid and guide our learning.
