My students will be able to use these tablets to access online educational resources during our learning stations. They are excited about technology, but unfortunately we don't have up-to-date technology for them to use each day in class. Every year we work towards providing the necessary "tools" for our students to be active, engaged learners, and by having access to Tablets in my classroom, students would have the necessary "tools" to reinforce key skills in math and literacy. Students at a young age have been asked to continue learning in many different platforms, like using the Google Classroom to work and communicate with teachers and classmates. Students have many programs they are learning in school and at home such as: GetEpic, SplashLearn, ReadingEggs, and XtraMath to further their education. Having Tablets in my classroom would make using these programs more accessible and give students multiple opportunities throughout the day/week to go on and practice. Tablets in my classroom would be a well utilized resource for all students!
