I teach math and science to 5th graders. We do year round projects which we mostly use materials we have at hand when creating a model. That’s mostly includes recycled items or unwanted items to create a design or idea that students have. Having a 3D printer will help students take what they envisioned to another level. The use of recycled items will give students a first model prototype. The 3D printer can give students the final prototype. I am hoping to further build the minds of inventors and innovators of the future.
