Comfort is needed to support student learning. In my class, students work around the room as much as possible. My challenge is I haven't found comfortable chairs to use at my small group table. I have tried many different types of chairs and stools, but my students can't seem to get comfortable. Imagine how hard it is kiddos that are 9-10 years old to sit still and focus. Small group lessons take 10-20 minutes and young kiddos have a hard time sitting for that amount of time. I believe wobble chairs will improve student focus by allowing them to move and sit in comfort.
