These materials will allow my students to engage in play based learning that creates opportunities for creativity, deeper learning, engagement, and developmentally appropriate practice in kindergarten! The majority of my students do not have access to quality play materials at home and have not had experiences to play with other children and develop socially and emoptionally due to Covid and virtual learning from the past year. This project will allow my students to engage in hands on play based learning opportunities that will develop their social, emotional, literacy, math, science, and social studies skills all while they have fun while they are learning in a developmentally appropriate way! My kindergarteners this year are creative and love to create and build as well as solve puzzles. These materials will mean the world to me and my students and help create an amazing and beneficial kindergarten experience for them.
