Your support will help us obtain a high-quality Canon Rebel T7 24 Megapixel digital camera and a jam-packed accessory package. What could possibly be more important to a digital media program than a digital camera? Nothing! This digital camera will be the SINGLE MOST FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENT of our digital media course! The great thing is that we already have lenses that are interchangeable with this new camera. Our previous camera (which is NINE years old and broken) is an older model of the Canon T7. As with all technology, advancements give this camera way more capability than our older one. Students will use the camera images we take to create digital media documents, graphics, images, templates, social media posts, website graphics, broadcast channel graphics, Zoom images and video background, Canva digital graphics, Doodly videos, and much more. As part of our digital media program, students will train to become certified in Adobe Photoshop. The images will allow our students to enhance our personal school's images--boosting pride and enthusiasm all around campus. Without a good camera, students simply won't have the primary, essential component of that will make learning these skills possible. A new camera is essential for student learning, boosting school pride, teaching students responsibility, and project-based learning in a digital media program.
