Our library was amazing....in the 1960's. Unfortunately, this is the publication year for the majority of our books. My students love to read nonfiction, but with our out of date texts the information is often obsolete. Old and well used books don't slow down their desire to learn. They handle them with care even when the pages are falling out and the spine's worn down with age. I can not brag enough about these kids. I am proud to say most of our books are in good shape, especially considering they are older than most of their patron's grandparents. These new nonfiction books would really bring a new level of excitement into our AR program.
