Students often see challenges as something to avoid but when it comes to Legos, the challenge of designing, building, and improving a project provides excitement! The Lego EV3 Mindstorms kit provides an opportunity for students to problem-solve on a small scale but in a meaningful way. The robots also give quick feedback so students can learn on-the-job problem solving skills they'll need to become productive adults. With these kits in our classroom, the students will also become better equipped at coding and navigating the challenges of computer based commands translating into real actions!
