I am asking for four Amazon Fire tablets, a case and some stylus pens. These materials will improve student achievement, while providing opportunities for them to work independently and in small groups in both math and language arts. Students will be able to do Iready reading and math online lessons, gimkit math activities, prodigy math, and language art writing, journals, research, audio, webquest, read aloud and reading lessons. These tablets will be utilized as a homework tool for students to complete assignments using technology in the home. This will be beneficial for students that do not have access to technology in their home and provide an opportunity for parents to engage with their child while using technology. This project will help with reinforcing the middle school Common Core Standards and give my students an opportunity to be successful in the classroom.
