This year, we're jump starting Ross Revamp with the basics. The short-term goal is to provide each and every student with access to essential tools that promote literacy and individualized learning. For now, students need to be supplied with resources that allow them to make their learning personal. This means equal access to the essentials: highlighters, headphones, and even tissue (so, even allergies won't interrupt our learning). With your help, books will be added to our classroom library for those unable to purchase their own and to replace the ancient ones provided by the school. Plus, the director's chair will help keep me comfy as I model writing techniques and read-aloud during whole group instruction. In the long run, the goal is to transform our classroom into a space that offers 1:1 technology and flexible seating, in order to conduct split classroom lessons on a daily basis.
