A new school year is always an exciting time for students and teachers. While we are all still so excited for the new school year, many of us are experiencing many emotions due to the upcoming challenges we may encounter. This school year, we will begin 100% virtually. Virtual learning will be a challenge for some students due to the lack of resources that are provided to them. The donations will go towards instructional material that will greatly impact the students while they are virtually learning. Donations will help cover the cost of books, a ring light, and instructional supplies. Books will give me the opportunity to create virtual read alouds for my students which can be implemented in almost every instruction. This will benefit all of my students, especially those that do not have access to books in their virtual learning environment. A ring light will allow me to provide my students with better lighting quality, which is an essential aspect to virtual learning, so the students are able to clearly see my instruction. Instructional supplies such as paper, whiteboards, and markers will help me create posters and manipulatives so I can provide my students with visuals. In addition, it will allow me to send my students post cards and notes. Every donation will help me better meet my student’s needs and enhance their virtual learning experience. With the donations, I will be able to differentiate instruction as well as create a welcoming virtual atmosphere. My students and I thank you in advance!
