In today's world more families are relying on their children to help with day to day meal prep. In my basic cooking class, I teach the skills they need to accomplish this and so much more. Students are learning to cook within a budget and understand the benefits of a home-cooked meal. A typical class consists of six kitchens each allowing four students to practice the skills of basic cooking techniques. In my class, I demonstrate the lesson of the day and then students get hands-on experience in their lab. Having the right equipment is essential in reaching this goal.
