My students benefit from hands on learning and visuals. The more structure the better they perform. It is important for them to have access to simple learning visuals like posters and tangible-manipulative tools in order to grasp basic concepts in ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Activities for Daily Living. The academic posters I wish to acquire for my students will be used at home during the school closures. This will give them access to learning and maintenance of core concepts without requiring the internet and electronic devices as some students have limited/no access to the internet and most learn better with visual supports.
