My students are being asked to continue their educations as remote learning begins statewide in Illinois on March 31st. As a Visual Arts teacher, it is difficult to imagine how my students will be able to continue their visual arts education at home without any tools. This project will put basic tools for creating art in the hands of at least 200 students. In times of uncertainty, art can be an outlet. It can be a way to engage with what is happening in the world. This project will help at least 200 students continue making connections between their studies and their daily lives.
