Standing Desks as a solution: Having students stuck in regular chairs all day is very tough on them. I have students who need more motion than just sitting. I have students who stand at their desks but have to bend over their desks to write. It does not work very well for an hour at a time. I selected stand up desks to help these students have a more comfortable time while writing their notes and participating in class. I have another solution to the constant motion some of our kids need. I picked some swivel stools for them to sit on to get their jiggles out.
