There are many ways to motivate students to do the hard work that is expected in third grade. I have a plethora of low tech activities I use to engage my students however, we are living in a technology-based society and having access to an iPad to download and utilize a variety of applications would improve the delivery of material to my students. iPads and tablets play a significant role in our society and giving my students practice using them will help them in their future endeavors as well. Students will be able to use the iPad to engage in the material being taught through technology.
