My second graders are learning to love math and reading and I would love to introduce new technologies into the classroom to facilitate their growing passion for learning! We are requesting six tablets so that my students would be able to utilize a variety of learning apps and websites to enhance what we are learning about in the classroom. There are so many great learning resources online and I would love to have a consistent way for students to access those resources. By donating to this project, you would be investing in our future by helping students become critical thinkers, collaborators, and inquiry based learners in a world ever more dependent on technology. With six tablets I would be able to enhance my students' center time and further diversify student learning. These tablets would introduce my students to many new ways they can create, collaborate, and problem solve! I would love to be able to further engage and challenge all my students in reading and math through the use of technology!
