These books will make a huge difference in my students' learning because these books are interesting and relevant to their lives. I can see a profound difference in students' desires to read when the books in my library are new and culturally relevant. Additionally, I have students whose home language is Spanish and I would like to provide them with books in their home language that they can share with their families. For my Spanish speaking students, giving them access to our content in Spanish allows them to participate fully in class discussions and activities. Overall, these books will give my students access to learn more about the world around them, as well as to engage in topics that are meaningful and relevant to them.
