Most of my students need the very basic foundational skills. Many students are lacking reading , writing and math skills. These centers will help students learn while having fun. The centers will provide student- centered learning that is differentiated to all their needs. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from each other as well as from the teacher. Student centered, engaging , and differentiated hands on learning that allows for peer collaboration; can it get any better than that? . While students work on centers, I will am able to provide the much needed small group intervention that all students need after the Covid pandemic. Phonemic awareness, sight word practice, spelling word practice, and decoding words with these reading centers there are many possibilities. There are also the Basic math centers addition, subtraction and comparing of numbers basic but necessary skills that upper grade levels build on.
