At our school, we work each year with (5) 5th grade and (2) 8th grade classes and their students to study Biomes, EcoSystems and the importance of pollinators in the natural community. We are seeking to develop Butterfly & Pollinator artists among our students through the use of iPad and Apple Pencils in our perennial pollinator garden. My participating students will render their own butterfly and pollinator drawings (in-color and on the iPad) and then have their artistic drawing be printed and displayed as part of their yearly learning project about eco-systems, biomes and the importance of pollinators.
