Even though my students all have different disabilities. It is very important to me that in our classroom they are taught to reach their full potential. These student each have so much potential if we can just help them to figure out how to access that potential. Many of the students in my class struggle with having sensory needs that make it hard for them to sit still and focus on what is being taught to them. Many of the products in this project will help students to be able to focus on when doing their work and have tactile models and tools to use in lessons and activities. Others will help them to relax and take breaks when they need them so that they can continue learning later on. A few of the products in this project will help the students to learn the life skills needed to be independent in their adult lives. In class, we work on social skills lessons including, emotions, how to do chores, and other important everyday life skills.
