Learning about Earth science, time and fractions are a vital part of third grade. Having books, actual minerals, fossils, clocks and fraction tools will help bring science and math alive for each of my curious kids. These Earth science books, minerals, fossils, clocks and fractions will enhance my small group explorations to provide each student with the support they need to be active learners with hands-on tools. Providing students with actual minerals, fossils, fraction tools and clocks allows them to practice the skills they are learning from the text rich books filled with important information. Kids make vital neurological connections when they are provided with opportunities to experience what they've read through the use of their senses. These tools give them a chance to participate in math and science personally.
