By providing more books in my classroom I am tap into the raw potential of each one of my students. By reading stories of other people like them, my students can translate this into creative writing, TED Talks, projects and overall academic success! I do not have the resources to buy more books each year. But it is my job to surround them with literature and stories. Books are the escape into a new world, books help us heal, books help us dream and reach for new goals, give my students this opportunity to escape, heal, and reach. All of us like to get lost in a book, and my students need help to do that. They need books!
