Engaging students in the Reading Workshop Model fosters a love for reading! In order to give students opportunities to become life long readers, students must be in a print-rich reading environment. The resources I selected are the foundation to the Reading Workshop. I Believe in Reading and I Love It! Students need to be able to self-select books on their independent reading levels from a classroom library, students need to have their own browsing boxes of self selected books to enjoy during Reading Workshop, and students need to have their own book-bags to take books home and enjoy reading nightly.
