Assignment: Build a chest of drawers EXACTLY like the example I will provide. It is made of wood...but I don’t have any. There is a cherry finish on it, however I am out. It also has antique drawer pulls, but those are too expensive so....do the best you can. How frustrating would this be if YOU were given this task?! This is what it is like to hand my kids an art opportunity, but not have the proper materials for them to use. Having actual drawing pencils will give them the wonderful opportunity to experience another art medium. Now I can show them artists who use drawing pencils and all the techniques that go with it!
