A rug is an essential basic for a kindergarten classroom. It’s the first thing I think of when I think kindergarten. Teaching on the rug is a great way to build a strong classroom community and help students really learn. Having an easel at the rug is the next basic I need to help teach my kiddos. An easel that allows me to scaffold and model my teaching will help give visuals to my students who cannot read yet and will better help them learn.
These items are essential to build the strongest foundation for these kiddos and their future academic success. These kiddos are already at a disadvantage because of where they live and deserve to have the best education we can give them.
I believe the items I am asking to be funded will make a huge impact on the success of these kiddos. I am so grateful you have taken the time to read my story!
