Dru Woods incorporates amazing stories and the use of marionettes in her program. Students are given opportunities to participate in the show, which is a wonderful and exciting experience. Many of my students have very limited opportunities to attend professional shows, many never leave our small, rural town. By bringing Dru into our school, each grade level will have a program created just for their level. They will all walk away knowing more about the world around them, as well as having had an amazing experience. As a librarian, one aspect of my job is to create unique experiences for our entire student population. This is the perfect opportunity to do that.

About my class
