On March 13th, I waved goodbye to my students for Spring Break, but at that time I did not know that March 13th was going to be the last time that my students and I would be in our classroom together this school year. The transition to remote learning was quick and I know that many of my students have had a hard time to transitioning to learning at a distance. By funding this project, you will be able to help me give my students a smile through the stress and uncertainty that is present during this time. I plan on getting together my students belongings: leftover school supplies, their rest of their academic books that they've worked so hard on throughout this year, as well as markers, craft supplies, and STEAM activities to encourage them to keep on learning throughout this time. Students will be able to pick up these "goodie bags" and I can't wait to see them smile!
