The materials will help my students to develop their fine motor skills. Students will increase their ability to grip crayons, pencils, markers, etc., the correct way, button a shirt, and manipulate one-to-one correspondence. Not only will they learn how to hold writing utensils, but they will also learn their colors, shapes, numbers, and some basic needs. Having multi-age students requires that we differentiate activities with the various ages. There will be some younger students who might need help to pull up their pants or how to button their shirts/jackets. They will be able to have fun learning while also working on key development steps!
