Our students love to be creative, but sometimes they need a creative space to jog their ideas. My class serves as a nice change to the school day. In my class, they are empowered to take responsibility for their learning and get to be creative. Flexible seating helps achieve this because they are allowed to get comfortable. Flexible seating allows for group work or individual. Students are allowed to move around the room and figure out what seat works best for them and their learning style. It helps them discern what works for them and also what doesn't work.
