Many students in my class receive speech to text services in the classroom setting. My students would greatly benefit from having a classroom set of headphones in order to work on classroom projects, listen to content, and work independently on materials. My students are constantly working on an increased level of independent productivity and on task behaviors. Students and I work to become better learners through working to understand information independently and working diligently to achieve a goal. I place special emphasis on taking ownership of learning for students to really own and be responsible for their own learning and understanding of materials. Students would be better able to achieve goals if they have the resources, such as headphones, to work independently on tasks.

About my class
