The materials I am requesting were inspired by the creativity and excitement of my middle school students. We were learning to adapt some of their favorite fairy tales into dramatized scripts that they could act out. The students became very excited and began brainstorming ideas about how we could use puppets. Before long, the students had devised a plan to talk to our wood shop teacher and convince him to help them create a puppet theater for the English class for their very first carpentry project. Our shop teacher embraced the idea and a beautiful puppet theater was made. The students were thrilled to contribute such a valuable tool to our English class so that other students could have as much fun as they did sharing stories! The only thing left to do is to fill it with puppets and bring their imagination to life!
