Due to COVID-19, my students need personal supplies this year instead of the communal supplies we normally use. Several of my families are not able to afford some of their basic needs. Having to buy school supplies adds to their stress. Your donation will be very helpful in today's circumstances. My students need markers, dry erase pouches, and notebooks for the handwriting materials we use. Markers are great for beginning writers because they don't require a lot of pressure against the paper when forming letters, and the vibrant colors encourage children to practice their letters over and over. The scissors and glue stick will help strengthen their little hands and fingers and develop their fine motor skills. In the event we have to switch to remote learning, the children will take their supplies home.
