Our young learners are ready to take on the school year with a positive growth mindset. For many of our first-grade students, this is their first year being in class with their peers. This can be both exciting and overwhelming for them. We have been learning coping mechanisms, practicing breathing techniques, and utilizing behavior incentive strategies. We have established a safe space amongst our peers and our classroom bearded dragon Muzzy. The kids have become stronger in adapting to the unique structure that school has introduced them to. We are sharing the learning space with 21 friends, one teacher, and so much more! More kids are demonstrating educational gaps than in previous years. It's our mission to provide a nurturing environment to help our children grow academically and to help support them emotionally as well. Thank you so much!
