All the materials in this project will be used for in-person instruction. In collaboration with the Second Step curriculum this year we'll be learning about emotions. "Are you happy?", "Are you sad?", "Are you mad?", etc. The educational mirrors included in this project, will help with anger management and soothe every child when they get an opportunity to look at themselves in a whole different way.
Mr. Potato head will teach two important values: the sense of family and help with the identification of simple body parts.
Children need to learn life skills in Preschool so zipping, snapping buttons, and tying laces are all skills we will be learning this year as well.
Geography is also important, therefore we will have lessons about the 7 continents and how to place them on a globe or map.
STEM skills and engineering are really important at this age, therefore we will be working on stacking/building different objects and making fun figurines with our kinetic sand.
All our students need bubbles for our movement breaks and indoor recess because after working hard everybody deserves a break!
