I'm the computer lab teacher at our elementary school in the Whiteville City District. My students are having a hard time with the seating arrangements centered around the smaller chairs we have now in class. The smaller students are too low, and the larger students are sitting too high. If we had adjustable seats, students would benefit from the new chairs. Right now I'm spending time at the beginning of each class adjusting seats to accommodate each individual student. In the previous years, new tables were purchased and the old chairs were left in the room. The tables are higher and the chairs are lower. We could really use these new chairs to benefit all students from grades 3rd-5th. I normally see about six classes a day, so in a weeks time the entire school has entered my class for computer based learning. These flexible seats will provide a more standard seating, allowing all students to fully participate in the this 21st Century Learning Environment. Your value contributions will benefit each child moving forward.
