How do we engage ESL students in rigorous curriculum when the teachers have not been ESL trained and the student encounters a language barrier? By having a school-resource equipped with ESL manipulatives and materials to support the language development of our ESL students and that teachers can easily implement into their lesson plans. The materials purchased through this Donor's Choose program will support the ESL population in our rural middle school as well as the dedicated teachers who want to ensure classroom content is meaningfully accessible to language learners. The ESL "Crash Cart" is an ongoing project to acquire the materials needed to best support our students and teachers.
